The resort of Les 2 Alpes was created when the villages of Mont-de-Lans and Venosc, perched on opposite sides of the Vénéon valley, joined forces. As early as the 1940s, the inhabitants envisioned a modern ski area linking their mountain pastures.
This visionary project made Les 2 Alpes one of the first French resorts to develop rapidly. Even today, the village spirit lives on in the warm welcome and authenticity of the place, while benefiting from modern infrastructure adapted to the expectations of travellers.
